Topic: Research culture in India. Key ideas: 1. People are more concerned about publications than research, 2. Blind race for NIRF has led to gaming of system as faculty is resorting to shortcuts like self-citation, impact inflation, and doing only lite review studies for gathering more citations, 3. This is putting us back in research because we are only publishing not 'researching'.
