Doctor Fausto is observed by unknown creatures in outer space. All of a sudden, a strange woman appears in his life. Her strange behavior leads his life down the path to insanity.

Our old lodge brothers are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. This is being celebrated with the release of their eighth show! The show was recorded over two evenings in April and has now been edited down to just under two hours of fantastic (sultry) entertainment. The show covers a wide range of topics, and this year we meet the Little Mermaid, the Egtved Girl, the Grovbollemanden, and H.C. Andersen. The show also offers a reunion with Olsen, Meyer, Emma, and pet shop owner Clausen from Huset På Christianshavn itself. In addition, we will see old acquaintances such as Fjertomanen, and we will attend the funeral of Dorthe and Grethe at Gyllegården...

Spanish actor Jose Antonio Ceinos stars as a down-and-out sculptor, whose inspiration returns with the strange appearance of a beautiful, mysterious black muse.

She (Mrunmayee Lagoo) has posters of Jim Morrison and Bob Marley on her walls: rather belated icons for someone her age. She stuffs her drawer with Kama Sutra condoms, and keeps her room locked from parents. During the day, she goes out shoplifting, when not discussing men. The fakeness of cool fries your brains up. On a random night-out — “Can we go to the disc tonight?” — a stranger offers her a drink. She gulps it down. On another night at a club, upset with her friends, she meets the same fellow again — “Come on, we shall have a nice drink! Let’s dance… Just relax. Just take a chill pill.” She snorts coke, gets hammered; few days later, even moves out of her parents’.

Ed is trying to make a film, however the pressure of it all is starting to show.

A Mexican-American filmmaker living in the city of Los Angeles, and in search of his identity, decides to travel to Mexico City, where he senses that he will find the muse he needs as a key to finish his movie.

An assertive young stepmother, a rebellious stepdaughter, and a working wife whose career provides tension between the wife and her husband are the portraits of the strong-willed woman of the 1980s.

It's the mid 60s. Tokyo needs a new airport. There isn't anywhere in Tokyo to put it, so the government decides on displacing some adjacent villages. The peasants of these villages are not having it. What results is a remarkable act of protest and civil disobedience.

Writer/director Leslie Carde finds her villain in the US Army Corps of Engineers, an agency whose primary aim is supposed to be that of protecting the nation's citizenry from potential disasters caused by the structural failure of dams, bridges, levees, buildings etc. Instead, the Corps, in cahoots with the many politicians and congressmen who work right along with it, has been found, over and over again, to be derelict in its duties - guilty of negligence, of employing harmful cost-cutting measures, of having misplaced priorities, of engaging in outright deception, and of brokering sweetheart deals with pet contractors. The movie is unsparing in its treatment of the Corps, and Carde clearly views it as her own personal mission to hold that organization accountable for the many acts of criminal malfeasance it has engaged in over the years.

An official is sent from his home in Tehran to hear the final appeal of a woman sentenced to death, a political prisoner. The official's wife of nearly 20 years, Fereshteh Samimi, writes him a letter to read when he reaches the hotel - the story of her student days during the revolution of 1978. We see the story in flashbacks as he reads: she leaves her province on scholarship, joins a Communist youth group, avoids arrest, and comes under the sway of a suave older man, Roozbeh Javid, a literary-magazine editor. As she tells her husband about the hidden half of her life, Fereshteh asks that he listen to the woman facing execution, a woman and therefore one of Iran's hidden half.
