Weingartner's notable films include The White Sound (Das weiße Rauschen, 2001), The Edukators (Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei, 2004), and 303 (2018). His work often explores social and political themes, earning critical acclaim and several awards, including a nomination for the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival for The Edukators.
