In mankind's grasp for the future, a sinister foe known only as Gargoyle begins his plans to take over the world. Nadia, with the help of a young inventor, Jean Ratlique, and Captain Nemo of the submarine Nautilus, must fight to save the world from Gargoyle and Neo-Atlantis.

An ordinary high school boy fails to get into any private academy except one — which happens to be populated by supernatural creatures disguised as humans. To survive, he has to pretend that he is one of them and blend in.

At the end of her first year of high school, Futaba Yoshioka suddenly has a chance encounter with her first love, Kou Tanaka.
