In a nod to today's reality shows, twists and turns along the way force team members to vote each other off, create alliances, and generate unending drama and tears.

A story that follows Wei Da He, a man who was once fighting against the Communists. Due to his experiences, his ideas begin to change and he eventually becomes a member of the Communist party. Set against the backdrop of the Xi'an Incident, Wei Da He achieved a win after successfully capturing Tong Guan. Despite the merits that he has earned, Wei Dahe is dismissed and sent home due to his conflict with Gao Xiao Shan of the Red Army. As the war erupted, Wei Dahe returns to the frontlines and rescues military adviser Jiang Huai Zhu. He falls in love with Jiang Huaizhu's daughter Jiang Ya Zhen without knowing that she is a member of the Communist underground.

Despite their ages, they put their skills and experience to use to raise enough money to construct a hospital in the memory of Claude. The gang is aided by the son of Manouche and Claude, an inspector in the French police.

The guys manage to load into the "closed level" unfinished by the developers, where Belarus of 1942, occupied by the Nazis, is modeled. To help her regain her spirit, Benjamin takes over Yeung Chiu Hoi's coffee shop. He meets barista Hubert Wu and re-encounters his childhood friend Rebecca Zhu, a pole dancing teacher who has feelings for him. Benjamin, carrying the burden of extending his life, gradually develops feelings for Natalie, and fall into the anguish of loving each other but being unable to be together.
