Vengeance

Golden Faith is a TVB drama released in 2002 starring a cast that includes a strong mix of new generation actors such as Gallen Lo, Deric Wan, Jessica Hsuan, Raymond Lam, Anne Heung, Myolie Wu, Tavia Yeung and Michelle Ye and old generation powerhouse actors such as Paul Chun, Lau Dan, Shek Sau, Kwok Fung, Lau Kong and Gigi Wong. It is Gallen Lo's final dramatic epic before he left TVB, Deric Wan's comeback drama, Myolie Wu's breakthrough role and Felix Lok's first major role from random support characters. It is billed as a major production from the makers of At the Threshold of an Era.

In 1937, the Japanese imperialists launched a brutal war of aggression against China. Xu Tian was a color-blind accountant in Shanghai with military training who decided to stay close to his mother after the death of his father. After an accident involving a group of patriots led by a friend of his late father, he was touched by the patriotic spirit. He used his sharp mind to help the patriots transporting important materials, which also drew the attention of Japanese occupying the city to himself. During this period, he befriended Jin, a conman-turned-businessman and Tielin, a police officer working in the Shanghai French Concession. At the same time, pharmacist Tian Dan rented a room in Xu's house after losing her parents in an incident Xu was deeply involved. On the backdrop of the national crisis, people were living their intertwined lives with their own agenda, be it for revenge, for duty, for self-interest, or for ideology.

This first follow-up to 'Till Death Do Us Part' follows Alf and Else Garnett retiring to Eastbourne, and their daughter Rita and grandson Michael Jr. trying to keep the racist, anti-Socialist Alf out of trouble.

It tells the love story of Yu Zhong Sheng, the eldest apprentice of old carpenter Yi Da Chuan, and his granddaughter Yi Xiao Chuan. Yu Zhong Sheng secretly fell in love with his teacher Yi Da Chuan's granddaughter Yi Xiao Chuan. Driven by jealousy, second apprentice Yin Dong Yi sabotages Yu Zhong Sheng's neighbor's house beam which results in the death of a child. Yu Zhong Sheng takes the blame and goes to jail. Due to circumstances, Yi Xiao Chuan is forced to marry Yin Dong Yi even though she is in love with Yu Zhong Sheng. Yu Zhong Sheng hears about the news in prison and vows revenge. He makes good on his words after his release, taking ever opportunity to knock his opponent down. Seeing Xiao Chuan and their relatives in pain because of the fight between the two of them, Yu Zhong Sheng and Yin Dong Yi gradually come to understand the truth.

Six resistance fighters, known by their animal-based code names, fought during World War II. Their efforts came to a stop when one of their number, "the Wolf", betrayed them to the Gestapo. In their interrogation, one of their number, Claude Roget, the husband of Manouche was shot before her eyes. Thirty years later, Thomas Devon spots the Wolf in his shop. The surviving members of the Zoo Gang drop what they are doing and rendezvous for vengeance. The series follows the adventures of the remaining gang of four resistance fighters reunited 30 years later to scam habitual con artists and criminals in order to take their money and use it for good causes. Despite their ages, they put their skills and experience to use to raise enough money to construct a hospital in the memory of Claude. The gang is aided by the son of Manouche and Claude, an inspector in the French police.

It Takes Two is the Australian version of UK series Just the Two of Us, which ran for three seasons from 2006 until 2008.
