A common day in the actual Italy, narrated by the different stories of seven different people, it's the starting point for an overview to the 21st century's italian society, among corrupt politicians, unfaithful husbands, hardcore soccer fans and dishonest businessmen.

Two contrasting visions of life: on the one hand, the "rock" and adventurous of the brave Livia, cellist without maternal instinct; on the other hand, the reassuring routine of his sister Tina, shy urban vigilant with an ardent desire for maternity.

Adelaide is a 40-year-old literature teacher married with children. One day, she learns about the murder of a wealthy and arrogant co-worker of hers, strangled in her own home. Adelaide meets Gaetano, the charming inspector dealing with the case and decides to help him in the investigation, much to her husband's chagrin.

Bari, the last chills of a very cold winter. A gang of petty criminals rummages through the day and night of the suburbs, searching for a precious package sent from the Balkans and destined never to reach its final destination. What does the package contain? Important material for our characters; for the viewer, a passe-partout that opens the door to a jagged and surprising urban undergrowth.
