They first met when Belichick was a teenager and his father was coaching for Navy while Parcells was coaching at Army. On the same day in 1979, they became assistants with the New York Giants, and after Parcells took over as head coach, they won two Super Bowls together. Buttressed by what he learned from Parcells, Belichick would go on to win five Super Bowls of his own with the Patriots. Through all the ups and downs of their careers, including some memorable games when they were on opposite sides of the field, they forged a bond that few men of their stature have ever experienced. The raft man Manuel Jacaré was swallowed by the sea when Orson Welles was filming It's All True in 1942. The fact evokes memories of the dictatorship of the Estado Novo, of World War II, of Ceará fishermen's struggle for labor rights and housing in their traditional space - target of real estate speculation.

Fifteen-year-old Ars, due to psychological characteristics, spent most of his life at home. After moving with his mother to a small town, he decides to go to school. Ars faces a difficult path of socialization and verification of his moral beliefs. Due to the non-standard behavior and versatile hobbies of Ars, the initial rejection of classmates is replaced by interest and sympathy for him.
