He worked with directors like Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Gabriel Mascaro, Carlos Reygadas, Paul Dano, and Yorgos Lanthimos on films like Wildlife (2018) and Nimic (2019). Known for his painterly style and high-contrast lighting, García won the 2020 Robby Müller Award.
